The Role:
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for industrial multi-trade projects (millwrighting, equipment relocation, electrical, fabrication, welding, pipe fitting)
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents to develop scopes of work
- Perform site visits, job walks, and field measurements as needed to support accurate pricing
- Collaborate with internal teams to validate scope, methods, and material requirements
- Prepare material lists, labour breakdowns, and subcontractor RFQs
- Review subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure alignment with project requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and customers
- 5+ years of estimating experience in a multi-trade environment
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical documents
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean record
- Willing to travel throughout Southwestern Ontario
- Competent with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Licensed millwright or relevant trade experience is an asset, but not required
